After a horrific experience of trying to go out and find an apt on our own, and then with an inexperienced realtor who lost us 2 apartments, we finally called Next Step Realty. Before we could even schedule a tour of apartments, she asked me if I would be interested in an apartment that would be a lease takeover. The apartment was set to be listed that night, so I met her at the apt thirty minutes later. I fell in love with it, and put down our application deposit that night. Despite the recalcitrant landlords who moved so slowly and the flakey tenant from whom we took over the lease, we are THRILLED with our amazing apartment, located in the neighborhood we wanted and a whooping $400 under our budget.
