"My roommate and I needed to find a place for a mid-month start date and we only had one day in New York to find it. Our agent, Jordan, managed to find us a place that was willing to have us start mid-month and that was more spacious than we had planned for. Jordan was understanding about our budget constraints and was always responsive, friendly, and helpful. We have had some issues with our building and apartment since we moved in (repairs and lack of heating), and Jordan has been communicating with the landlord's agency for us for one month now. He has gone above and beyond to make calls for us and send emails for us to get these issues resolved. We are really appreciate his effort with helping us deal with some of these difficulties and his advice - especially as he knows a lot more about renting in New York than we do. Meena has also been helpful while she was covering for Jordan while on vacation. I would recommend using Next Step for sure."

"I recently graduated from university and am moving to NY from Canada for work and Next Step Realty allowed me to have a smooth and simple apartment hunting experience. As a new hire out of the country, my options was quite limited. I told Sara at Next Step about my situation and she helped me find places that would approve me with reasonable additional security within my budget. On the day of the appointment, she was able to line up 11 apartments for us to see in my target neighbourhoods. I was only in NYC for a few days so when I found a studio I loved early in the day, Sara helped me get approved and get the lease signed that evening! I was able to view all of the apartments in just a day and make a much more informed decision. She was efficient and able to point out the good and the bad about the apartments.
