"I recently relocated from SF to NYC. I didn't know the city that well and didn't have a good sense for exactly what I was looking for. My agent, Margit, did an incredible job helping me find a place. I wasn't only able to come to New York for one day to search for an apartment and she made the most of it. She gathered all of things that mattered most to me and prepared a detailed itinerary with over a dozen great apartments in my price range in the neighborhoods I was most interested in. By the end of the day I felt that I had a very good sense of what was available and was able to make an informed decision. Once I made my choice she helped with every aspect of submitting the application and securing the apartment. "I was stressing about my move to my first apartment for MONTHS. I laid awake at night thinking about how stressful the house hunt would be, weeks and weeks before it even made sense to start looking. I was absolutely miserable thinking about it. My roommate and I decided to give a broker a try, and we were matched with Sara Nardi at Next Step. She absolutely KILLED it! She was friendly, fun, and super helpful throughout the entire process, even after we signed our lease. The entire process was so much less stressful than finding a place on your own, especially because you get it all done in one day! At the beginning of the process, Sara called my roommate and I, and took into account both of our needs and wants when it came to amenities, location, and price. In one afternoon, she took us to 7 properties, all of which I would’ve been happy living in. When we decided on the apartment we liked most, Sara was even able to negotiate a discount on the rent, and a move-in date that worked for us. She was absolutely worth every single penny. I’ve heard many stories of people having negative experiences with apartment brokers, but I’m happy to say I will always (and already have) recommend her and Next Step to any friends and family looking to move. "I am so thankful that I found Next Step they made my apartment search so easy! I recently moved from Boston to NYC for work and had a short deadline to find a place. Victoria was amazing she called me in advance to talk about what I wanted and what were my deal breakers. I loved how we looked at 10 apartments all in one day so it was easy to compare what I liked and what I did not. She was super helpful and patient with me when I was trying to decide between two places and even showed me them again the next day. Once I decided on a place she helped me with all of the paperwork and getting bank checks since it was my first time renting and apartment. "Next Step Realty provided us with a great experience when we were relocating from Boston to NYC. My agent was Meena and she did a fantastic job lining up credible showings with fully vetted properties. I have heard many horror stories from my friends in NYC when it comes to dealing with dishonest realtors and fake listings. "Moving to NYC is quite the challenge. Fortunately, my employer referred me to Next Step Realty. We looked into it and felt good about using Next Step to find housing. We set up an appointment with our broker, Grace. She prepared a list of about 10 apartments to see on our tour. We were able to find a great place for us in our budget. Grace was very professional and fun to work with. Overall, I had a great experience with Next Step and would recommend using it!"
