"My husband and I found our Brooklyn apartment with the help of Sophie Crocker. Sophie was incredibly patient with us (we had a very specific idea of what we wanted for our next apartment), even as the two places we put in an application for after our tour ended up falling through (not Sophie's fault at all), and our search was extended a couple of weeks. She understood our needs from the beginning and did not try to push apartments on us that we were not certain about. She was also great at explaining to us how to put our most competitive applications forward, which is essential in a crazy rental market like NYC's. She brought so much value that the Next Step Fee was worth it in our opinion, especially as we ended up with a place we are very excited about at a price point significantly lower than we were budgeting for. We loved our experience with Next Step and would recommend it and Sophie in a heartbeat! Her intern Alicia Maginn was likewise phenomenal. "
