After I had a terrible experience using a different company, a friend recommended I give Next Step a try saying that he had only heard great things. I listened, and I’m glad I did — I had a great experience with Next Step Realty. I worked with two realtors, Katie Thiele and Michelle Calogero. Unlike the other company, both Katie and Michelle actually listened to my apartment preferences and showed me apartments that matched these preferences. While viewing apartments, they pointed out the pros and cons of each space they showed me, they helped me think about how I could arrange furniture, and they weren’t pushy in trying to get me to settle for something I didn’t really want!
I unfortunately didn’t get the apartment that I had applied for during our first time out, but Next Step was super helpful with continuing the search, sending me new listings when they popped up, and ultimately taking me on another whole day tour before I found another apartment that I loved. I also liked that they didn’t lose touch as soon as the lease was signed, they checked up to make sure everything was going smoothly a few days before key pick up, and checked in again after I moved into the apartment to make sure that there were no problems. I would definitely recommend Next Step to a friend, and am so happy with how nice they were and how smoothly they made looking for apartments
