Taking a moment to recommend Next Step and the delightful broker Meena Ziabari. She did an amazing job of negotiating with the landlord to put all kinds of riders on the lease. She also followed up with the landlord afterwards to make sure he actually enacted them, which she was in no way obligated to do. Next Step also takes you around in a car to see the apartments (at no extra charge) which makes the process way less stressful.
